Is it free?#

Yes. Nothing in the game is sold, and there's no real money anywhere in it.

How do I play?#

Get the L.O.S launcher, sign in with your L.O.S account and pick L.O.S Empires & Allies in the games hub. Step by step: Getting Started.

Do I need Facebook?#

No. You sign in with your L.O.S account.

Who made this?#

Zynga made the original game. The server is the Raise the Empires preservation project's (GPL-3.0); L.O.S hosts it and fixes what breaks. See Credits.

Does my old empire still exist?#

No, sorry. Zynga's saves are gone, so everyone starts a new empire.

Why can't I send gifts?#

Gifting went through Facebook, and the game has no in-game inbox for it, so there's no way to send gifts yet.

A unit or building is missing from the shop#

Its picture was never recovered, so we hid it rather than sell a blank card.

"The enemy has managed to sever our connection"#

That means the game lost touch with the server. Reload and carry on: your progress up to that point is saved. If it keeps happening at the same step, tell us in Bug Reports what you were doing.
