This page gets you from nothing to playing L.O.S Empires & Allies, our revival of Zynga's war-strategy game.

1. Make a L.O.S account#

One L.O.S account plays every L.O.S game. If you already play L.O.S Farms or another L.O.S game, you're ready: skip to step 2.

Otherwise, make one on L.O.S Farms with Discord (one click) or with email (pick a name and password, then click the link we email you). It's free.

2. Get the L.O.S launcher#

Empires & Allies was a Flash game, and modern browsers can't run Flash, so it plays in the L.O.S launcher, which has Flash built in. Download it from the Download page: there are versions for Windows, Linux and Mac.

• Mac: the launcher isn't signed by Apple. The first time, right-click it and choose Open (on macOS 15 and newer: System Settings → Privacy & Security → Open Anyway).
• Updates: the launcher offers its own updates when you open it. Say yes: new versions bring fixes and art.

3. Play#

Click Sign in in the launcher (your browser opens so you can pick Discord or email), choose L.O.S Empires & Allies in the games hub and press Play. Your progress is saved to your L.O.S account, so it's there on any computer.

1. Name your empire and follow the first missions: they teach building, collecting resources and your first battle.
2. Collect coins, oil, wood and metals from your buildings, and build houses to raise the population you need to train units.
3. Train land, sea and air units, then sail out to the campaign islands or try Survival Mode.
4. Every other L.O.S player is your neighbour: visit, help or invade.

4. This website#

Log In at the top of empires.losgames.xyz signs you in through L.O.S Farms and brings you straight back. Then you can post in the forums, edit this wiki and set up your profile. See This Website: Profiles, Themes & Badges.

5. Join the Discord#

The L.O.S Games Discord is home to every L.O.S game. Pick L.O.S Empires & Allies in #get-roles to see its chat, help and bug report channels. Type /empires there to play the L.O.S Empires & Allies arcade: quick jobs, a mini-game, a quiz and a daily bonus that go straight into your save.
